To demonstrate and introduce to the state of the art in the field of waste water management in Germany, FiW (www.fiw.rwth-aachen.de) offers to organise and implement a training course for experts from the field of environmental engineering who are currently active in the planning and operation of Waste-Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) in Northern Africa. In this training course, waste water treatment principles and related theoretical knowledge taught in in-door sessions are complemented by study trips to several WWTP in Germany using different treatment processes which will also on-site-discussions with various experts from operators, manufacturers or the regional environmental agencies. External interested parties may participate in this course. Information with regard to the attendance fee will be provided upon request.

 

The scope of work offered by us will include:

 

•    Four-weeks training course provided by FiW and external experts (English language)

 

•    Carefully selected resource persons with relevant experience and expertise for each training session of the different modules

 

•    The session activities will also provide ample opportunities for discussion and interaction between participants and FiW experts. Generally, the duration of each session is 75 minutes with 45 to 50 minutes at an average designated for presentations, and the remaining time for questions, discussions and group-work. Sessions are usually based on Power-Point slide presentations

 

•    Professional course materials in English language will be provided to participants along with scribbling pads, pen, folders etc.
