German Culture and social events
While following an intensive academic program and the german language course, participants of all Summer Schools also have the opportunity to experience German culture hands-on through an extensive leisure time program.
Taget Group
The main target group for these programs are undergraduate students who get to know Aachen city and RWTH Aachen University first-hand and maybe even to decide to commence their Master studies here. The program is also recommended for students who think about going to Aachen as an exchange student during their studies, but would like to get to know the city and university beforehand. Master students and graduates who want to get to know Aachen and the University are also welcome.
Certificate
At the end of the program, participants will receive an official certificate of RWTH Aachen University stating the contents of the course and where applicable their performance.

German Culture, Region Aachen, excursions to companies and cities nearby, sport events, get-togethers with international Master students who have graduated in Aachen, workshops in intercultural communication and a lot more - enjoy your stay!
We’ll take care of you
The International Office’s and the RWTH Academy's experienced staff will take care of the participants during the summer school. Additional student tutors will guarantee the participants’ interaction with German students and help them with questions during their stay. International students currently studying at RWTH Aachen University will also be included in the cultural programme.
